I was on an Emirates flight from MXP to JFK last Sunday. During the flight, I requested milk from a flight attendant for my 20 month old daughter. The bottle had some residual milk in it and the flight attendant suggested that I rinse it out in the lavatory. Not thinking, I did as she advised and rinsed the bottle with water from the lavatory sink. Subsequently, my daughter vomited all over herself in the taxi line at JFK, in the taxi home and at home Sunday night. She's had diarrhea now for several day and vomited again last night (4 days later). I strongly suspect it was the lavatory drinking water that has caused her illness and regret listening to flight attendant.
