Opening fully in 2019 meanwhile, will be the
Jeju Dream Tower urban integrated resort in downtown Jeju City. Located only 3km from Jeju International Airport, the two-tower facility will be similar to the recently-opened
Lotte World Tower in Seoul, comprised of shopping, entertainment, and leisure facilities, accommodation, serviced residences, and an observation deck. There will also be a foreigners-only casino. Hotel facilities will be provided by Korea’s third
Grand Hyatt property, set to provide 1,600 rooms and approximately 1,200mē of meeting space.
Grand Hyatt Jeju will have 1,600 rooms, 11 food and beverage outlets, approximately 1,200 square meters of meeting space, indoor and outdoor pools, fitness center, two spas (Western and Korean) with a total of eight treatment rooms and two kids clubs.
What a beast at 1600 rooms! I don't know if incoming tourism can even fill half of this hotel with the Chinese economic retaliation and group tours banned from THAAD. It sounds like it'll be just another GH Incheon with tons of staycationers from the mainland.
