Afraid not. I remember that automated announcement system as well, she sounded rather dictatorial.
"Flinders St, Flinders St, platform 6. Epping train stopping all stations, is now due to depart. Stand clear please.
"STAND CLEAR" (with a distinct emphasis on the final "stand clear".
Speaking of railway announcements, Grant Goldman used to do all the automated CityRail (NSW) announcements. He got so peeved about the performance (or lack of it) of CityRail that he resigned, since he thought it would affect the ratings of his radio show on one of the major Sydney radio stations. They got a woman to replace all of the pre-recorded announcements.
