I can't seem to find a forum on this. I know that you have to show up to the hotel to check in to get Marriott Rewards points. If I booked my stay using the online mobile check in app to "Check In" do you actually have to use the mobile key card and scan it on your door to get the rewards points? Or does something trigger it to where it has to see that you actually opened your door to get rewards points?
