In a few weeks we'll be in the same position.i

We're on an international routing (LGA-MIA/MIA-CUR) w/the first leg scheduled for 6 AM.

So, that translates into early/early AM check-in even if we "cheat" off the prescribed two hrs ahead instructions we've gotten from AA.

So, we're checking into an airport hotel the night before in order to grab a little extra sleep and not have to be concerned about the potential for a missed car service appointment, flat, etc. etc.
