The *A and ICare lounges are after passport control but before security (The old T1 has all these spokes leading from the central terminal to each group of gates, and security is at the end of each spoke, before you have a waiting area for those particular gates. Trying to put modern-day security over a Jetsons-era terminal, I guess it was the best they could do.)The LH lounges, on the other hand, are at the gates LH uses, after security.I know that you cannot get through security to use a LH lounge unless you have a boarding pass for those gates (even though, technically, UC members have access to them.).I don't know if you need a T1 flight boarding pass to go through passport control, or if you could explain you want to use the lounge.I wouldn't doubt it, but haven't tried. And as I mentioned, I don't think it is worth the effort. But I've also wondered, since the *A lounge is before border security, and you pass right by the elevators on the way to security, they don't allow you to use it as an arrivals lounge, to compete with AF's arrivals lounge in T2. They won't let you in with an arriving BP.I'm guessing the overcrowding is the reason.
