Actually, having looked at the ba.com seat map and the Expertflyer map, it seems that for the Door 2 exits, then Row 9 (2 seats) is ahead of the exit and Row 10 (3 seats) behind, so Row 10 should have the big legroom - but for Door 3 exits, Row 23 (2 seats) is behind the exit (so might have the big legroom), with Row 24 (3 seats) having limited legroom, despite being marked as an exit row as well.

I think from memory, the 2-seat rows used to be the longer-legroom seats at Door 3 before the previous round of densification.. is my memory right??
Actually as I recall it's always been the three-row seats that have the good legroom as they are behind the door. The two-seat rows are technically exit seats too but seem to have the normal legroom. A&F in particular are the ones to go for in the three-seat rows as they have almost unlimited legroom, as no seat ahead of you.

I'm currently scheduled to be on the 814 on Tuesday so if that's the one you're referring to we'll find out!
