I was in New Jersey a few weeks ago and the Hyatt I stayed at had one of these. It was pretty much mandatory due to the hotel being right on a major highway with no sidewalks or crosswalks (never mind any reasonable access to NJ Transit).

Anyway, I originally wanted to go to a restaurant semi-across the street from the hotel and after waiting an extremely long time for the driver to come out to let me in the van, I ended up getting taken to the mall instead. On the other hand, I likely wouldn't have found the pretty good (IMO) barbecue place if I had actually been taken to the restaurant I originally wanted to eat dinner at, so it worked out well in the end.
