Had a recent stay here last Sunday evening. Nice hotel, but definitely in an industrial area with nothing around. Simply telling taxi drivers 'Hilton Airport' or 'Hilton Vitacura' should suffice for returning either here or the Doubletree, respectively. Left too early for breakfast, but the staff were friendly and I did get a free pisco sour welcome drink. Did have a couple issues, though. Arrived around 2PM and after waiting for an entire flight crew (8-9 folks) and another individual to check in, was told "check in isn't until 3, but we may have a room ready in 15 minutes." Fine, but 45 minutes later, after no word, I got up to ask and they said "Yes, check-in is available now it is 3." I thought this was pretty poor for having waited in front of them for almost an hour and having watched 10 or so people check in. I can confirm the previous posts, though, that the A/C in the rooms does not work. It was beautiful outside, but even though I'd set my room temperature to 17.5 degrees (mostly to prove a point), it stayed around 25 degrees the entire time, too hot for a good night's sleep. They said they'd send someone right up to fix it, but never did. Other guests confirmed they had the same issues on the airport shuttle the next day. Overall, a nice hotel, but unless you have an early flight I see no reason to stay here over the Doubletree across town which was much nicer, until they fix the A/C issues.
