Update 3/27/18: I read a recent comment from staff (read on another travel site) that a full refresh is coming for all OWBs sometime in 2018. Construction noise is concerning to me. I realize that any property over or next to sea water generally has greater maintenance requirements due to the harsher conditions. I was told OWBs in FP usually have to be refreshed every 10 years due to the elements. Now, if the upcoming refresh is mostly interior than that won't be as bad, but it depends on how much they have to do to refresh the place. The thatch roofs have to be replaced periodically. I HOPE they replace the mattresses with firmer ones that won't kill people's lower backs.
