Yes I have to agree with your statement, that the foods served are of a better quality than what others serve on this route. I have to add here that I was already pleased with their catering on my first longer range flight with Aloha about 2 years ago from HNL to Midway (then still operated as a charter service and with their ETOPS rated 737-200).

To answer your questions:
No, there's no printed menu in coach.
The towel is an 'Oshibori' (refreshing=cold) towel. This has the advantage, that you can save it and use it at the time you want (not like the hot towels).
