I would urge anyone using the system to be extraordinarily cautious and to check, double check and then get someone else to check the application.

Just applied for a family of 4 and mine was rejected. Seems there was an error with my passport number but the number on screen beside my name is correct and I only have one image to upload.

The system is clunky and prone to error responses including "cannot open web page" when you are in the middle of the application. Once confirmed you can't do anything with the application. Moreover you cannot apply again when there is an unpaid confirmed application on the system and you cannot delete old applications. There is a message which states that unpaid applications or incomplete will be deleted is not correct, they don't.

In fairness the help desk responds quickly, but its anonymous and the information provided is sketchy beyond the basics and you have apply again....and of course pay.

As the 3 other visas in the family application were approved and issued within 24 hours I have to accept the error was mine but it should be possible to see what the error was and some flexibility from the help desk would have been nice....but thats not how things work anymore ..... so you live and learn!
