The location of Andaz is actually very good. If you’re willing to use taxis occasionally to link you to nearby stations, or to get over to Roppongi/Nishi-Azabu etc... it’s actually very efficient and taxis should not cost much for those distances.

It is true that it lacks the benefit of the excellent variety of shopping and dining outlets within Roppongi Hills, but then again you (usually) get a much nicer room product and views at Andaz. And you van be transported to Roppongi Hills by taxi very quickly if you want to enjoy that location as well.

Getting around becomes much easier when you know how to use trains/subways, busses, and taxis together to make the most efficient and economical routing. Sometimes a short cab ride eliminates an annoying subway transfer, etc...
