I beg to differ. Currently at hotel Sahrai, barely checked in an hour ago, and this hotel doesn’t even belong in this subforum. Not luxury by any means, service is completely lacking. Driver picked us up at the airport 45 mins late, I even had to call the hotel. At arrival front office manager was waiting and apologized. No service recovery offered. Then we were escorted to our room which turned out to be a deluxe room whilst I held a confirmed reservation for a junior suite. Yet another mistake. Switched rooms. Let’s see what’s up next.
That was back in 2014 - hotels can change a lot in that time and it looks as though the Sahrai has gone down hill after its enthusiastic opening. Pity.
