It could be implied this means that tickets may be used out of sequence in Italy without repricing or penalties being applied. Anyone have any experience in this regard? Thanks!
Not so much out of sequence but rather you can use remaining flights but you'd forfeit the first leg, and not be able to still fly it at a later date.

Must be related to local legislation?
