Marriott Travel Package vs a simple Marriott pts into AS miles transfer

I'm guessing you are referring to the Marriott Travel Package where you get a 7 night hotel stay and XXXXXXX AS miles transferred into your AS MP acct? The above folks, I think, are talking about redeeming xxxxxx Marriott pts for xxxxx MP miles. See ratios in post #4 above. Ratios may have changed since this is an OLD thread.
