To answer my question --

It turned out to be fine. They use CAI T1 domestic, which is extremely bare but otherwise functional. The staff were fine, and we took off on time with no issues.

That said, I'm still not sure what would happen in IRROPS, given this is their only flight of the day. I get the impression you'd be hosed.
