I stayed at the OR Tambo Protea coming in from CPT and departing to DXB the next morning. I actually found it to be a bit of trek considering it was the OR Tambo location. It was a short uber away but SUPER cheap with Marriott points. There was a free shuttle though I landed too late and departed too early to use it. The hotel was new-ish and close-ish and incredibly reasonable. Just in case for some reason the InterCon doesn't work out.
