Mrs T. recently sat next to a passenger in J who smelled so badly of liquor when he sat down and started to act up as soon as the aircraft took off, spilling drinks, and food all over, singing at the top of his voice, shouting for more drinks, trying to put one of his earbuds in her ear several times so she could listen to his music! Finally his behaviour was forcefully challenged by one of the FA's and he settled down somewhat. It begs the question (to me at least..) that why was this guy deemed ok to even board? Does the gate agent have to make the final determination? An uncomfortable few hours for my wife for sure.
