Nothing as bad as your story- but I don't know how people drink so much on red-eyes. I fly yvr-yyz redeye often in Y and it amazes me, people are clearly buzzed when they board and then spend money on several wines/beers. I imagine all these people are able to have the day off to recover
Your story was terrible.

I was on a BA flight to Mumbai several years ago and a young child vomitted on the floor in the aisle ahead of me. The parent did the worst job of cleaning it up and didn't alert an FA and the odour lasted the entire flight.
