Sharing points is a concern for me as it's not confirmed that once I share I can then transfer and get the award redemption I want. Is there not another way to do this by opening a Citi account jointly and then combining the points for use from either of our accounts?

If so what is the process and what type of account would I have to open. I was thinking a joint basic savings account, seems pretty simple to keep it free monthly. Would something like this work for this?

I seem links to apply online but then what as far as the joining of the TY point accounts?
