Any updates on this issue? My wife and I are currently planning to take our grandkids on a trip to Hawai'i next year. She has a lot of AP points to use up and we are hoping to pay for the youngsters with AP and pay cash for ourselves, to earn UA MP points. I suspect that the bookings will have separate PNR's as they are separate reservations. I am hoping they can be linked at or after booking to prevent problems with IRROPS etc. The questions that arise are whether we will be able to make a TB booking for 2 kids ( they will be 9 and 7 when travelling) without an obviously accompanying adult at first? Secondly should we anticipate other problems with this plan? I am fully expecting to have to do this via phone rather than on line but are there any pitfalls that I haven't anticipated?
