Hi. Bumping an old thread while on hold with BA. Have an ex-AMS fare to JFK and was looking at doing an UUA for the two transatlantic segments. I was quoted an additional €255 in "taxes". I've now asked them to go back and requote upgrading the AMS-LHR leg on the basis that the UK premium fare departure tax wouldn't be levied on a J class journey originating in the Netherlands...will see what they say
