How do you know this? In theory, this could be true, and even if you have the same person doing multiple functions, they could clock time to the appropriate job code during their shift and get paid a different rate depending on what they're doing. But somehow I don't see a fast food chain going to that effort - they'll just say here's your rate and today you'll be working this job.
I suppose I could be wrong.

I worked at Sonic and yes they are paid two different wanted. You click on as either crew or carhop. However, some people who are regulars, tip whether they drive thru it drive in .
You are paid two different wages, you click in as either car hop or crew.
