Sorry, I tested using the Make a Payment option. Do you see a notice like the one mentioned by
Diplomatico? I think you are simply experiencing a delay while your bank and American Express
settle the transaction. I cannot say why American Express does not display the payment as a
pending transaction in the same fashion as pending purchases.
