Hi Richard...

As much as I fly, I am a FFM rookie...I am truly ignorant when it comes to managing and using my miles. Much as I try, I can't seem to understand the various rules...and then the rules keep changing. Or the airline goes belly-up. I have all these miles on LX but am not sure whether to cash them in for a non-flight related item or hang in there to see what they're going to do re: alliance with another airline. Doesn't help that LX eliminated their run between Zurich and Washington, which I used to fly all the time. So what do I do now that I no longer have as much of a reason to fly them? Pretty standard stuff.

All of this is to say that I'd love to help if I can...if you want to approach it from the perspective of the totally clueless and confused, then I'm your person. At any rate I'm sure I will learn something from you...as I always do when I watch BT!
