Hi, I have just called You First to try and change the car rental pick up location from YVR to picking up at another Avis location in Vancouver (Hornby Street) and the agent said "if I can just have your credit card details that will be £17 for the amendment fee", It wasn't until she took the card details and confirmed the amount that I realised what she had originally said, £1700!!!!! To which I obviously questioned and she confirmed it would be £1700. I did say that I wasn't trying to rent another three cars for the trip! Could have turned into a very costly mistake.
Anyone got any insight to how this could be? She must be trying to cancel the rental and add another and it is coming up with the ludacris price.
