A friend of mine made the colossal mistake of checking his new wife's wedding dress, and, of course, it was delayed and missed its appearance. They had been married the week before, and were flying to a reception in Atlanta (she had flown a day earlier, as I recall). Anyway, the dress showed up the next day, along with his suit, but they had to buy new clothing and obviously calling your wife to tell her you've lost her wedding dress, well, sucks. I told him I'd check the guide to compensation, but there wasn't really anything along this line there, so what do you guys think?
