In this month, I called MPC hotline, requested an upgrade to business class
7 days before departure.
I was offered to pick up an upgrade voucher at NRT checkin counter.
Because of my Y class ticket was E-ticket, I showed my passport and MPC card, and got boarding pass, lounge invitation card, and voucher for return flight.

Unfortunately, business class booking was so tight at the time of booking,
Only middle seat of 747 (11E) was available for me.
