I have been getting mixed answers when I call AA. One said changing from Alaska to AA is no problem. The next agent said there is a fee since it's a courier change and it's not one world, but 90% of the time the supervisor will waive the fee.

Shouldn't be a fee for either one. Since the initial award is an all-partner award (non-oneworld) with TN and AS, you'd be changing to another all-partner award with TN and AA.
