I have done something similar as I’m sure others have. Albeit it was the days when WTP booked into CE, so the extra 40tps were certainly worth it. But I do enjoying flying, airport hopping, lounges etc so it was enjoyable for me. It’s ceryainly not crazy in FT land!

JER is prone to foggy conditions which is the main cause for concern but it’s not affected my trips! You should be fine, just have a plan B for different parts of the journey as a back up. The M25 is always temperamental!

Jersey is beautiful when the the weather is good. St Brelades bay is only 10mins from the airport in a cab if you want some sea air and a nice sandy beach on your stopover!
