Only do this if you are OK to potentially buy a new ticket to Muscat, at walk-up rates, should Flybe have operational difficulties on the day. A bit of fog and you'd be stuffed. If you did this LGW-JER-LGW/LHR-MCT as a back to back at JER then I would have fewer concerns.
