I know that I intentionally exploited some glitch on Delta side, but with all pain I had in the past with Delta IT -- I have zero regrets. If someone from DL contacts me on this forum, I will be happy to provide details for investigation as long as I am promised not to be charged back -- I still want bugs to be fixed.
I had a similar experience with United long time ago when miles from award ticket were fully refunded by mistake after a complicated reissue. I was also mad at United IT at this time and decided to keep 140K United miles (but reported similar issues before).
Do you guys report Delta bugs in your favor or keep them to yourselves? How lucky were you?
Nope, don't report MQM posting bugs in my favor - not worth my time or effort.
You seem to refer to pricing bugs - but your example is not a pricing bug. I have no idea what is real in DL's pricing anymore and I buy when I see a price that works for me, and that's that.
Your example of using a $1,500 ticket twice is ethically complicated and not a pricing bug - either an agent made an error in applying the credit, or you somehow intentionally got them to use the value twice. Either way, you knew you were using it twice and it could be considered fraudulent by Delta...that combined with your posts regarding gaming OP-UPs makes me think you don't want DL to know exactly who you are...
