Had a similar connection in LAX a few days ago, and still managed to go back and forth to TBIT for a quick shower in the *A lounge.
The 58min in SFO is going to be your most risky connection even if everything is on time. Depending on the gates it could be a good long run from domestics to internationals.
IMO, pay with a credit card that has trip delay insurance. I missed a connection on a multi PNR with an airport change (NRT/HND) and was able to claim my hotel and food expenses on the Chase Explorer card.
