As you guys know, we no longer get miles when flying American inside the US (at least thats my understanding). But we do when flying abroad, thus I have the following situation and I want to see what I can do about it:

1. PDX-ORD-CDG (all on AA metal, BA codeshare)
2. CDG-LHR-SEA-PDX ( all on BA metal except for SEA-PDX as thats Alaska)

I happen to have Gold status with AA, so I would like to get miles plus free bag check for the PDX-ORD segment but I want to credit Alaska for ORD-CDG. Is there any way to do this?
