the time when I cared about the rewards - it was a mix between 2000 miles or a 20€ voucher that could be exchanged for some real online store vouchers.
mosty I didn't receive the reward altouhgh I thought I had met my participation quota. that was quite intransparent, but I think they changed it recently - not that I cared at all
my feeling was that the impact you have with your opinion is close to zero. anyway at least that's a community where you can articulate your thoughts. most silly feature IMHO is the "quick polls".
