I got the same email on Friday.
"¿Quiere seguir siendo Oro?
Siga volando* Si quiere seguir disfrutando un año más de todas sus ventajas Oro y mantener su nivel de tarjeta, sólo tiene que comprar 2 trayectos antes del 26 de marzo."
My hopes to keep Oro was lost as I hardly flew last year and was pleasantly surprised by the email. I am missing 910 EP to qualify so I was going to book the flights firday evening.
However, a couple hours later I received an email stating that the previous email was sent to me in error:
"Estimado xxxxxx,
Lamentamos comunicarle que hace unos minutos ha recibido un email nuestro referente a un mantenimiento de nivel que era erróneo.
Disculpe los inconvenientes que le hayamos podido ocasionar.
Atentamente,
Equipo Iberia Plus"
I was disappointed about losing my Oro status and the emails I received were like salt in the wound. Not funny!
