A few days ago, I received an offer to renew IB+ Oro status by booking any two segments before March 26. They did not have to be flown before the end of the qualification year, which is March 31, and award flights were valid.

Actually, I had already qualified a couple of days before, so presumably the offer was made when they thought my year would end with almost the minimum Elite Points to renew, but not quite (2235 of 2250 before my latest flight). I got an email the following day apologising for having sent the offer in error.

Has anyone else had this? So far I hadn't seen reports on IB+ of a measure similar to BAEC's two-week grace period.
