No compensation from Air India - What are my rights?
Hi!
I was on a flight from PNQ-DEL-LHR with Air India all the way on business class.
The flight from PNQ to DEL was delayed due to technical conditions in DEL (only one runway available this day - normally two).
Since the PNQ-DEL flight was delayed I missed my connecting DEL-LHR flight, and hence I was 12 hours late in London since I was re-routed to the next AI LHR flight from Delhi.
I registered a complaint on the same day in DEL airport but they declined any kind of compensation; cash back, extra bonus points, nothing at all.
My questions is: Can I do anything about it? I think it is really poor customer service by Air India, but I am not sure the time is well spent if I continue my discussion with them.
