I had booked a plane ticket through Chase Ultimate Rewards then canceled due to a medical issue. I scanned and emailed the claim form along with doctor's notes and other information the insurance asked for and they came back asked for additional information which I got from Chase Ultimate Rewards travel. Got a check for the change fee of $150 in about 3-4 weeks. I was told Chase Ultimate Rewards travel canceled my ticket and has the balance of my ticket value- which is around $70 in this case- on hold to book another ticket within 1 year. This happened to be on Jet Blue which I do not regularly fly so will see what happens in a year if I can get the res of my money back.
