I have never sailed on Royal Caribbean, but unless you must embark from BCN, I'd suggest looking at TATL repositionings on Royal Caribbean's slightly more upscale sister line, Celebrity. Pricing might be comparable.
And, if you're willing to play chicken with the cruise lines and hold off on booking until two or three months before sailing date, you might -- or might not -- be able to get a great deal on price. I'm departing next month on the Celebrity Silhouette FLL to Southampton: inside guarantee, $549 pp/double occupancy, with a $150 on-board credit (booked in late January through vacationstogo.com).
