What seat to choose in club world with baby
Hi All,
Firstly, apologies this is a first world problem.
I’ve just booked our first long-haul trip with our 20-month-old from Gatwick to Lima in CW (very excited). It’s one of the B777-200 three classes.
We get to select our seats from the time of booking so opted for 4E & F (centre rear facing two with aisle access and bassinet position).
However, I think our little guy will be too big for the bassinet seat so he will be on either his Mum’s or my lap/seat.
But when I look on the seat map the cabin looks really quiet (and there are still 9+ seat available to purchase).
So my question is, do I book seats 4E & G leaving F empty assuming no one would choose a seat in the centre two next to the bassinet, meaning we would end up with a free seat for the baby?
Also, do you think I would be correct in assuming if someone was in 4F they would definitely swap with 4G?
I’m almost certainly overthinking this since becoming addicted to trip reports/reviews in the last couple of days but any advice/tips would be appreciated.
