Certainly on this forum there are lots of contributors who feel quite strongly about what bathroom amenities they use as well as the hard & soft product. There was a thread on this a few years back and I was surprised how many like minded contributors there were.
I'm with you. I like a property to have its own distinct toiletries selection. Makes it feel more luxurious and a more personalized stay experience.
Park Hyatts have generally gone towards brand standardization in Le Labo. Only a few outliers remain in using Aesop in Park Hyatts Seoul and Tokyo. This is one of the reasons we actually frequent both properties.

Some Asian Four Season hotels seems to have been taken in by the dreadful Lorenzo Villoresi Firenze line. It's faux luxury, not remotely Florentine and made in China. Awful crap to be put in very nice bathrooms like Seoul and Kyoto.

Not the biggest fan of Remede but I make do when staying at a St. Regis. PH Aesop comes in handy.
