Firstly, I would fear going back to dial up from DSL so I can well understand the original poster's attitude in this respect. As for airports, well I try to keep my travel as enjoyable and relaxing as I can and I never understand the "getting to the airport at the last minute" mentality of a lot of business travellers. Fast airport Internet access is to me one more activity I can count on to keep me happy (along with a good book, a good lounge and good shopping). Does this make me an Airport Junkie? I think not, just a person who has chilled outlook on travel.

Now if only more flights out of AMS were a bit late. I'm getting sick of having to rush around the place to make my connection. That would keep me (and I suspect a lot of other travellers) happy
