No, we needed addition information, including that I have always been able to leave an online reservation for someone else on my card until check-in, but it was not permitted here even though we were using my points. They needed the card that would be used at check-in. Maybe you have family member's card numbers, but I don't. You can choose not to believe me or the manager, but this just happened within the past couple days. The best practice is to have the other person on the line so all the information is correct. especially when making a reservation outside the US where the rules might be different.
