Available through 3rd parties on-line?
OK, maybe somebody can set my thinking straight on these ex-LIS fares.
I was getting close to the point where I was ready to book an ex-VIE I-class return to SFO. The fare is available on Expedia, so no problems with buying on-line in the UK. Then this thread came along and prompted me to check the ex-LIS fare on ba.com. Sure enough, it's over GBP400 cheaper. However, I cannot find the same deal available on anything other than ba.com, which I believe will not currently accept UK credit cards for ex-Portugal fares.
So my question is : will these ex-LIS fares soon find their way onto other booking channels, or are they only available for direct sale by BA? (In which case, I'd better get searching on how to go about making the purchase!)
Part of me wants to stick with the ex-VIE deal as VIE happens to be one of my favourite places, so the detour would be a genuine pleasure in its own right, which I would make the most of with a few days' stopover. However this may be flawed thinking as the price difference is almost enough to pay for two discount-Y returns to VIE any time I like!
Any thoughts appreciated, as always.
