I don't know if this makes you a nerd or what, but wouldn't you have had internet access that's been paid for when you got home? It makes no sense to sit at an airport and use a wireless connection if you could have gone home and spent more time in the comforts of your own home....

Normally these would have been good points, however:
A. I've been temporarily relocated to PDX from MSP, so I wasn't going "home" so to say.
B. I've only got dial-up access at the place I'm staying. Even at work, we only have a DSL line so this was BLAZING speed at 48mb/s.
As a side note, I am looking forward to July 4th when I'll go home for the first time in six weeks. Yah!
