A question about the luggage allowance - I think I know the answer but do not want to assume, and would really like any personal experiences (especially in the negative) to corroborate:

Does the luggage allowance (which requires the ticket to be purchased with the MP Club Card to my knowledge) trigger if the ticket is purchased through an online or physical travel agent? If so, does it trigger when buying a "bundle offer" on Expedia/similar with a hotel included?

I assume the answer to both of these is yes because I can see no reason it wouldn't (although the tech behind it does escape me), but want to confirm before I consider that route.
