Chiming in from the UA boards. I've flown NH F, C, and Y once or twice each (F and C on UA miles), and I was impressed with the service in all classes. The seats in C (Super Style? I'm guessing 48" or so) and Y were not that comfortable... But the food was miles ahead of UA, and the FAs were very attentive.

NH F was with the old seats, but it was still fantastic. I can't wait to try out the new seats. I too would like to know how the service was bad. (Sorry to throw this off topic...)

On her way back to school, my friend was op ug'd to Business when they overbooked Y.
Check-in Agent: "I'm sorry, but we've oversold Economy. Would it be acceptable if we put you in Business?"
Friend: (Are you kidding? Heck Yeah!) "Yes! That'd be great!"
Check-in Agent (repeatedly): "Thank you for being so understanding, and we apologize for the situation."

Needless to say, my friend was very much impressed, as this was her 2nd op u/g with NH. And she's only *S. FWIW, they never asked for volunteers. ..Ok, I hope I kind of got back on topic.
