I had a credit with Avion for a flight a number of months back, and back in January I rebooked a flight using it. The RBC booking agent was unable to remove AC's change fee so she suggested I call AC and book with them. I called AC, and ended up paying a slight fare difference but no change fee! I understand Avion booked flights no longer count for mileage accumulation but considering this ticket was booked directly with AC in the end I was shocked to not receive any miles! Tried submitting a mileage request to no avail. My booking reference was exactly like if I had booked on AC site, this is very strange, and irritating!
